Associations des Jeunes Voluntaires pour la Paix et le Développement Durable) AVPD-TURIHO is a local Organization whose aim is to reach out a big number of young men and women whose dedication is to help fostering the community development where we live.our values and principles are volunteerism based ;we promote volunteerism in different areas such as environment preservation,reforestation,water sanitation,and contribution to SDGs promotion.
We are also youth led Association whose ambitions is to help young people and women in terms of self-empowerment and entrepreneurship which allow them to fashion a life and career that directly align with our core values, sustaining established social cohesion and peace building,saving the environment, putting families first,supporting internal and displaced refugies.
We ultimately put much focus on women Empowerment as as an asset for improved economic growth and stability within a communities. Women entrepreneurs inspire other women to start businesses. This leads to more job creation which ultimately helps in reducing the gender gap in the workforce.
It's generally about thinking for ourselves and being true to ourselves in what we are doing as youth. Being empowered enables us to get things done.
Social cohesion, non-violent communication and youth advocacy are our motto towards the more United workforce for success and sustainable development.
