Kono Bui’s goal to eliminate the barriers
preventing Africans from receiving adequate behavioral health services as it relates to mental health and trauma recovery, including affordability, lack of representation and the overall stigma surrounding mental health.

Kono Bui’ Foundation serves individuals and groups through its charitable works, and partners with local organizations to offer treatment to all in need. Kono Bui’ Foundation believes they can eradicate the negative outcomes endured by many facing the mounting stigma of mental health services. The
foundation’s main target is building better and brighter future for Sierra Leone.
