BACK GROUND
Global women Empowerment Net work is a community based Organization (CBO) that started in 2019 with a commitment of empowering women affected by Poverty and diseases to meet their needs. We envision a society where all women and Youth live to their full potential and their rights and aspirations are fulfilled. Our services are delivered through a community, facility and family-oriented intervention model. We implement programmes in seven thematic programme areas of women protection & Youth Care (WP&YC) Social Economic Empowerment (SEE), Environmental Conservation and Disaster Risk Reduction (EC& DRR) Basic Education and Adolescent Development (BEAD), Reproductive Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (RMNCH), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Nutrition and HIV/AIDS (RNHA), Rhesus Negative in development and emergency contexts.
The organization is headed by a competent and functional board of directors who formulate policies and provide strategic direction to the secretariat. The secretariat does implementation of the project activities and ensures that programs are implemented component by component. The secretariat is headed by the Executive director assisted by Head of Programs. The organization is guided by policies such as the financial policy, human resource policy, gender policy, whistle blower policy, among others

To support, promote and to link poor communities to affordable high quality, prevent. Curative and rehabilitative health care services tailored at improving social and economic independence among girls, children and women.
VISION
A world in which girls, children and are empowered to live in a free health environment.

GOAL
Achieving a community where girls, children and women freely exercise health rights to ownership and control of resources
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
• TO model children at tender age for purposeful and positive living
• To prepare the women, children and young girls for distinct future by providing affordable health diseases.
• To create health related developmental programs in health technologies in both rural and urban areas.
• To Impart skills of development into girls provision of basic education and the youth in vocational education.
• To Create sustainable financial projects that can help to alleviate poverty through creating credit facilities.
• To provide psycho social support services and care to girls, children and women who have experienced social humiliation.

• Advocating for women, girls and children rights and lobbying
• Reduction of physical violence in homes
• Environmental conservation
• Nutrition supplement and a food security
• Linkage to health facilities
• Training of trainees and provision of stepping stone Activities.
• Direct Deliveries in communities.
• Saving and credit Schemes
ACHIEVEMENTS
i. Since 2019 the number of members has increased from 10 to 25.
ii. We have linkages to the government health facilities
iii. We have managed to register our organization.
iv. we have managed to give phsyco support to pregnant mother who have blood group of rhesus factor negative
v. We have created more awareness to both pregnant women and girls to go for blood group Testing.
vi. Since 2019 we have referred more than 200 pregnant mothers to health facilities.
