Building Nations Initiative (BNI)

We are a youth-led, youth work, service-learning, and community development organization. BNI's life-span approach to empowering children and young people provides an integrated non-formal education and positive youth development PYD services through our respective community youth centers Through these centers and other community impact projects, we have harnessed our team of young volunteers and professional youth workers to directly impact over 26000 children, young people, and their families in six communities. With our professional development services and co-working space, we provide individuals and organizations serving young people the opportunity to improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for youth development work, particularly in the areas of program design, project and case management, mentoring services, tutoring, and other remediation services or programs.
We also commit ourselves to youth systems strengthening by leading and supporting advocacy for the adoption of legislation, regulations, policies, and services that will promote positive youth development outcomes.
