Help Community Concerns Uganda

Help Community Concerns Uganda (HELCCON UG) is a Ugandan Nonprofit Community Based Organization (CBO), working with and among underserved and less privileged rural communities of, Busoga sub region and Uganda at large. It was founded in 2015 and attained its legal registration with Buyende district local government in April 2016 under registration number 0039/BUY/2016. \r\nThe organization was established after realizing that rural communities are faced with multiple socio-economic challenges like; poverty, poor education, chronic hunger, social injustices and poor health characterized by disease burdens, poor service delivery and inadequate specialized HIV/AIDS and SRHR care which needed to be addressed such that rural communities also attain sustainable development.\r\nVision Statement\r\nA society where rural women, children and youth are empowered equitably to demand for and have equal access to quality socio - economical services/ opportunities and human rights\r\nMission Statement\r\nTo work in a holistic manner towards improving the quality of lives of women, children and youth through interventions that reduce their vulnerability to accessing equality socio – economic services /opportunities and human rights. \r\nOUR TECHNICAL AREAS OF FOCUS\r\nChild protection \r\nCommunity health and WASH\r\nGender Based Violence (Including VAWG and youth)\r\nSexual Reproductive Health Rights and Services\r\nAdvocacy \r\nEnvironmental health and climate change\r\nFormal and Informal education\r\n OUR CORE VALUES\r\nOur key principles include: \r\nConfidentiality\r\nIntegrity\r\nAccountability \r\nTeam Work\r\nTransparency\r\nGod fearing\r\nOur Beneficiaries\r\nGirls and Young women\r\nChildren (including OVC)\r\nYouth and women \r\nPeople with disabilities (including People with Albinism) \r\n
