Volunteer Involving Organisations Society Malawi

The Volunteer Involving Organisations Society is an umbrella of organisations that work in development through volunteering and with volunteers to promote volunteerism as a means to development.

It is a national network whose membership is open to government, international and national non-governmental organisations, institutions, foundations, corporates and community-based organisations across the Republic.

VIO Society Malawi recognizes the unique programs/projects offered by each member organisation and, where appropriate, enters into partnerships to enhance volunteerism in Malawi.

VIO Society Malawi is acknowledged network which acts as a coordinating link between government and international, national and local voluntary organisations in Malawi.

Members have been involved in different areas of voluntary activities aimed at development and peace, in line with the national development agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
