TRANSHUMAN PROJECT

Transhuman project (2022 -2032) is the brainchild idea of Nekesa Mukamba from Kenya. It is a feminist tech project for ITGNC persons in East Africa. They wish to create accessible opportunities and social justice initiatives for ITGNC persons in East Africa. They are working on a regional resource hub for the East Africa ITGNC community. The project is anchored on promoting safety and wellbeing; creation of resources to push for ITGNC gender affirming care and human rights movement. Transhuman project is headquartered in Kenya with remote working for the rest of the team across East Africa.
Transhuman project purpose is to create and establish resources for East Africa ITGNC community using technology: website, USSD code, Mobile application, ITGNC history archive and in-country grassroots engagements.
