People and Nature Initiative

This is a youth-led initiative in Uganda established to;
To facilitate an impactful resilient generation that restores /replenishes nature and empowers the most vulnerable people. Our work explores broad social-economic and environmental areas such as climate change, activism, environmental degradation, and skilling the youth, sustainable development, gender equity, refugees and governance among others.

One of the key themes the initiative focuses on is raising climate change awareness and nurturing activism in Uganda and the world at large. Provide opportunity for youth, men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development to address the physical and social needs of their communities and to promote better relations between all people world.

OBJECTIVES

Uniting and empowering youth, women, children and grassroots to restore nature, adapt to and mitigate climate change.

Nature

Championing climate education in Africa/driving ambition for climate action and environmental restoration
Empowering grassroots, youth, refugees, women and communities to adapt and mitigate climate change
Promoting African heritage through nature-culture conservation
Environmental, climate change, end plastic pollution and gender-social equity campaigns

People

Empowering the less empowered like women, girls, disabled, and other marginalized individuals and groups to attain descent wellbeing and basic needs of life such as education, water, medical health, human rights among others.
Building 21st century leadership, skilling and educating the youth and children for a sustainable future.
