About Koneta Hub

Koneta Hub (Initiative) is a local based non-governmental, non-profit organization legally registered with the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in South Sudan. Koneta is innovation-focused and provides community led solutions to socio-economic problems facing our society. Our thematic areas are but not limited to Digital Skills training and Inclusion, Entrepreneurship, Coaching and Mentoring, Gender Based Development, humanitarian access to information and services and applied research. We envision ingenuity, inclusivity and participatory approaches for young people. Our objectives are: (a) “being community driven, imparting practical skills; (b) enhancing an innovative mindset; and (c) identifying with the girl-child whom we desire to empower and become an agent of change against negative perceptions of the communities where she lives”. Despite being relatively new in the humanitarian world, we have had remarkable successes in a number of areas especially in training, community engagement and humanitarian assistance, using voluntarism with likeminded group of youth.
